Pressure Mapping Service

As a part of our commitment to delivering quality, comprehensive allied health services, we provide our clients with advanced pressure mapping technology. This state-of-the-art system allows us to accurately assess pressure distribution and develop personalised care plans accordingly.

What is Pressure Mapping?

Pressure mapping, also known as pressure mapping technology, is a technique used in the disability sector to assess the distribution of pressure on different parts of the body when a person is seated or lying down. Using a mat or sensor equipped with numerous pressure sensors, pressure mapping technology measures the amount of pressure applied to specific points on the body in contact with the surface.

This technology is especially valuable in the prevention and management of pressure injuries related to prolonged sitting or lying, such as pressure injuries (bedsores) and musculoskeletal conditions. By identifying specific pressure points, we're able to improve the overall comfort, well-being, and quality of life of our clients.

With pressure mapping technology, we’re able to provide our clients with a tailored approach to disability management. We understand that each individual's needs are unique, and that's why our specialised pressure mapping service is at the forefront of our commitment to delivering quality allied health services.
